Work in partnership with the Department to implement key strategic work such as the School Leaders’ Wellbeing Framework and the Occupational Violence and Aggression in Schools’ Report recommendations.

Advocacy & Access

NTPA play a critical role in capturing your voice, concerns and issues that have been raised from our diverse schools across the NT. As a key stakeholder who represent your voice and the profession, NTPA regularly meet with the Minister of Education, Chief Executive Officer, Deputies, Senior Executives and fellow national school leader associations.

Influence & Impact

NTPA represents all school leaders on governance groups, committees and advisory bodies, and responds to all education related policy, guidelines and processes with advice and feedback. On the national stage, NTPA is an active member of the Australian Secondary Principal Association, Australian Government Primary Principals Association, Australian Primary Principals Association and the Australian Special Education Principals Association. Members have an international voice and connection through the International Confederation of Principals.
